 Historical Insight

The initiative to establish Laleh Petrochemical was driven by the desire to rejuvenate the economic landscape of Kermanshah province post-war. Supported by local entrepreneurs and the broader community, the project saw substantial local investment, reflecting the population's strong desire for industrial development. The production of LDPE started in 2009, after years of meticulous planning and execution, involving a consortium of companies including SABIC, Lurgi, and Saze. Today, Laleh Petrochemical not only dominates the domestic LDPE market but also plays a significant role in the international arena.

Laleh Petrochemical specializes in the production of LDPE, known for its flexibility and excellent mechanical properties. The product lineup includes various grades tailored for diverse applications such as:

  • Packaging: From lightweight commercial packaging to agricultural films and greenhouse coverings.

  • Electrical Insulation: Used in cable sheathing and as an insulator for wires.

  • Flexible Tubing: Used in consumer products like toothpaste tubes and food storage containers.
